Big Bass 3in1
Big Bass 3in1 is exactly what it says: three small fishing-themed games stitched into one tidy app that runs completely offline. The main mode is a casting minigame where you flick the line, wait for the ripple, and tap at the right moment to reel in. It's simple, but the timing has just enough weight that landing a big catch feels earned. The second mode is a calm sorting puzzle where you match your catch by size and type into crates, and the third is a light management screen where you tidy up your little dock between rounds.
Controls are all one thumb, which is why I kept coming back to it on the train. You never fight the interface, and there's no tutorial wall — the first cast teaches you everything. The art is bright and friendly, the water animation is surprisingly nice, and each of the three modes saves progress separately so you can dip into whichever mood you're in.
It won't blow anyone away with depth, and after a couple of hours you've seen most of what it offers. But as a pocket time-filler that genuinely works with no signal, it's a pleasant, well-made little package. The editors liked how the three modes break up the rhythm instead of feeling like padding.
